Anyone who has read my collection, The Lamppost Huggers and Other Wretched Tales, will know the important role The Molotov Cocktail lit zine has played in inspiring and influencing my work.

The good news is that the editors, Josh and Mary (pictured with me at the UK Flash Fiction Festival 2018, below), continue to put out top quality flash fiction through the magazine and their quarterly competitions.

The even better news is that I sent a brand new story (I hadn’t even circulated it around my beta readers) into their most recent competition, which in their words was one of their “most hotly contested competitions to date,” and my story finished fifth, among some seriously talented writers.
